Deleting an event permanently from a feed

As a Hub user I should be able to delete events I don't want from a feed have them them stay deleted upon the feed refresh.

Currently, I'm able to make edits to feeds and preserve those edits upon feed refresh, but I cannot delete events and have them stay off.

A major pain comes from pulling in feeds with 'Closed' or 'Holidays' on their sites - although those events are valid for the venue (libraries, museums, galleries, etc) they make no sense on my Hub calendar.

As a work around, I need to change these events to 'pending review' or 'draft' status so that the are not in the public view, but they do stay in my All Events. Ideally, I'd like to delete these events and not pull them in at all.

Along these lines, I would really like to be able to have an .ical feed only bring in current or future events as I have all the events in my calendar (from as long ago as 10 years) clogging it up with useless data. I do not have control over the calendars that feed into mine and if I delete the older items, they are reimported on the next go-round.

This may speed up the overall plugin because it would not have such a large database. I am going to post this as a separate request, as I think it may not be the same as the above post.

Diane, can you please raise a separate idea for your comment? This way people can vote on it specifically. Thanks,

Aristotel, I did that. Look for Import items from ical feed from this date forward or something like that to vote on it.
