Front End Submissions >> Event Accepted >> Organizer Updates Event >> Notify Calendar Owner

Hello Timely!

Currently, when a "logged-in" user submits an event to our calendar via Front End Submission / Event Promote, the user can then modify the event via their dashboard. Their updates will then be automatically reflected in the event that displays in our calendar, which is super-cool!

The steps I'm referring to look like this:

1) User visits our site, logs into their Timely account and submits an event for approval.
2) We approve the event on our end.
3) User logs into their Timely account and edits the event we've approved.

At this point, the approved event seen on our calendar updates automatically with the user's edits made in step 3, but we as a calendar aren't notified of any changes.

Ideally, we'd like to either a) be notified that the event has been updated so we may review the updates, or b) have the event automatically set to "pending" so that we may review the updates / approve the new "version" of the event.

I believe this will help to ensure that calendar owners maintain control / awareness of the content being posted to their site.

    Hi Brian! Thanks for raising this idea.. and thanks again for being so engaged to our product. We really appreciate it!

    We already have the notifications planned to be implemented soon. But I'm sending this to our technical team, so they can check how to apply "pending" status to the event changes, so it won't be displayed in your calendar until your approval.
