Extended view add-on problem

Somebody asked me to look at the de-activating problem of the extended view add on.
It runs now without deactivating itself.

I don't know exactly what the fix was. But this is what I did:
1 throw away the extended view plugin
2 download fresh via the add-ons menu item in the time.ly main plugin
3 install and activate
4 in the main plugin/settings go to the 'add-ons' tab and check the "show footer" box for extented view add on

I suspect it is step 4 that does the trick: in my logic the add on doesn't register... the checking of the box gives the main plugin a living connection to the add on

Not sure if this is the same problem, but if I save the Event settings it disables the extended view plugin. I can re-enable it, but again any setting change disables the extended plugin again. Very frustrating. It was working fine for a while and just started happening. Have no idea why.

Thanks for the tip, it may be the solution.  It may also be that your original Extended Views addon was not registered in the same account that your Core calendar is registered with -- both must be in the same account, so when your calendar is logged in under Events > Settings> the URL will register with our API and the addon will not deactivate.

Melissa Keller, Please be sure you are also following the above also.   For faster assistance, please log into your Timely account and open a ticket by clicking on the Get Help link, or click here: https://dashboard.time.ly/account/get-help.

I wish Frontend submissions had a checkbox - I can't make it stop deactivating no matter what i do.
