The enhancement is best described in an example.
Imagine, for example that a vacation rental guest is staying in a cottage. They are interested in seeing what events are on around them. I propose the time.ly calendar would have a new 'filter group' present which would allow the guest to search by a time filter of their choosing.
Such filters could be:
*Within the next 3 hours
*A custom date range
*A custom time range e.g. 3.00pm to 8.00pm
*Today e.g. Next 12 hours
*Tomorrow e.g. everything from 12.00am to 11.59am
*Duration
*All events on in next 2/3/4 Days
*Month
So my guest, could then apply a LOCATION and TYPE filter thereafter and have an amazing breakdown of what events are on in whatever area they like, whatever type they are interested in but crucially in a time range they are interested in. I totally understand that the current time.ly can be filtered by DAY but for tourism regions in particular, where people which to research things before they go , this enhancement could be really valuable.
It could be really valuable for cities as well as rural areas. I would be delighted to help trial this if the opportunity arrises.
Hubs can create custom filter groups. Please upgrade to hub to use the feature. Thanks.
