Make new event email notifications More Relevant

If other calendar owners are like me, I get a ton of emails.  My preference is:

to either cut down on them entirely; or
to rely on the subjects of those emails to quickly determine how much attention they need from me, dispensing with them as quickly as possible.

I recommend UPDATING the Email Subject Title to be more relevant:

Current Email Subject Line:
New event submission

Recommended Email Subject Line:
New event submitted to {insert_calendar_title} and {specify action needed}

For {specify action needed} insert one of the following:

  • "needs approval to go live!" (if the events are set to be moderated)
  • "is now live!"
